Something HUGE is happening in Harvey Park this weekend - it’s like the 1955 Parade of Homes all over again, it is the Harvey Park Tour of Homes!
On November 1st, 12-3pm, there will be 28 homes that are currently for sale in the neighborhood all open at one time, and you can see them all (or at least as many as you can fit into a 3 hour window). There are mid-century moderns, traditional brick post-war ranch homes that make up most of Harvey Park, and even a couple of Harvey Park’s earliest homes in Burns-Brentwood and Sharon Park! Pricing is in the $400s, $500s, and $600s+. Don’t know Harvey Park? Learn more here.
Products featured include:
- Burns Better-Built Bungalows from the 1940s - true post-war ranch homes at a great price
- Cliff May Homes - nationally famous mid-century modern pre-fabs
- Burns Moderns - another mid-century modern product
- K.C. Ensor Homes - “Traditionally the Finest,” featuring concrete block construction with brick veneer exteriors and plaster interiors - certainly the most sturdy homes in Harvey Park
- Burns Capri - a traditional wraparound brick offering from Burns Construction
- Carey Homes - traditional wraparound brick homes by Carey Construction Co.
- Hutchinson Homes - from Hutchinson’s earliest offering in Sharon Park (built with Carey), to their legendary “Century” product, “The “H” in Home Means Hutchinson.”
- And much more!
If you want to stop by and say hi to me, I will be holding open the Burns Better-Built Bungalow at 2081 S King Street (listing details). I would love to chat, catch up - and if you are in the market to buy or sell a Harvey Park home - let’s chat all about it! See you there!
