Sunset Lanes is a neighborhood of 99 homes designed by Harvard & MIT trained architect Norton Polivnick of the firm Baume & Polivnick, and built by D & H Contractors of Aurora. The homes were originally built with a single floorplan generally, with several different elevations depending on how the home was placed on the lot (many of which still have prevailing mountain views to this day). Basements were also optional, leading to a plan variation to allow for the basement stair.
If you want to see the potential of what can be done with a Sunset Lanes home, my friend Josh Robinson has been documenting the renovation of his home in Sunset Lanes and posting on YouTube. View the videos here and be inspired!
